Hi,

I failed my poly...asked the drug question and while I never specifically went out of my way to take drugs; I did have someone slip something in my drink. Was totally up front and honest, however, poly tech told me to answer no on the drug question...hence the fail. Could you please send a copy of an appeals letter to mafiach1k@aim.com

I really want this gov't job. It goes with my degree.

Thanks

What was the question to which you were told to answer "No"?

You don't say what the test question was so I have to assume. But, it sounds like a problem.

If, after explaining to the examiner, you purposefully had someone give you illegal drugs and were then told to say "no" to using or lying about illegal drugs use in your application or past, it is potentially an improper test question.

The original drug question should have (probably) been modified to accomodate the admission. That would have been the fair and proper thing to do.

I suggest you contact the hiring coordinator or authority and explain rather than a letter. If they ask for a letter, then provide it. I don't have any "appeals letter" to provide, but they're out here.

Good luck.
