I am thinking about subjecting my boyfriend to a lie detector test regarding his fidelity. What is the best way to structure the questions to get the most truthful answers.

First of all you have to understand that the polygraph test will be most effective if only one issue is the focus of the test.

That is to say the test will focus on one question which focus is the issue.

This is the type of test that will generate extreme accuracy combined with a skilled examiner.

The question/s is constructed so that if the subject is lieing he cannot possibly answer it truthfully and vice versa.

This is a very important aspect of the test and something you should discuss at length with the examiner who conducts the test.

There will be other questions in the test of course usually 10 most of which would be of diagnostic value.

If you are having to ask this question on our bulletin board....you need to find another examiner to do your test. A good examiner will meet with you and will be able to structure a proper test. That is EXACTLY what you are paying for. You should not have to figure out the test on your own!
