1. BITS & PIECES: "Buying Polygraph Results and Playing
both sides of the fence"

I received the following email and it is good to know that
she is no longer 'a little stupid':

Hi and thank you for taking time to assist me with my
personal problems. My boyfriend I have been dating for
almost four years and being that I was only 17 years
old when we met and a little stupid, I did not take
our relationship as serious as I do now and have been
for the last three years. I want to surprise him with
a polygraph test to prove my faithfulness to him for
our anniversary, but in the back of my mind is the
stupid stuff I’ve done so many years ago. I know I
will not pass it and although he is not requiring me
to take one, this is something I really wanted to do
for him. I wanted to know if I could buy a written
report from your company saying that I took one
without actually doing it. I know this probably not
something you do, but I was young and made a mistake
but I really want to live the rest of my life with
him and I would be more than appreciative to you.
If you require me to sign some kind of waiver I would
happily. Please let me know as soon as possible if
you are willing to help.

** I wanted to write back and tell her that yes, I would
sell her a report to give to her boyfriend that says
something like "Ms. XXX admitted that she has been
unfaithful to you in the past, however, it is very
important to her that she give you a gift for your
anniversary that proves that she has not been
unfaithful to you even though she in fact, has.
No polygraph test was conducted prior to the creation
of this report since there was no point in doing so."

** Of course I would have made sure to ask for the money
up front :)

**********************************************************

We have talked about the website police-test.net in the
forums before, however, an examiner pointed out to me
that there is a link at the bottom of this site that goes
to take-a-polygraph.com. I checked it out and both sites
are run by a William Trevino. So basically he is playing
both sides of the fence. He has one site that sells you
a plan on how to pass a polygraph test and one site that
tells you how to find a polygraph examiner.

It is important to note that he has filled his database
with listings that he snagged from my website as I can
assure you I didn't give him permission nor did I pay to
have my listing posted there, but it is nonetheless. You
may also find your name there.

I guess the main point in telling you this is if you
were considering paying the fee to be on his site as
an examiner, first consider that he sells anti-polygraph
material on another site he owns.

2. A TRIBUTE: Polygraph Examiner Richard Hickman dies
at 88"

EDITOR'S NOTE: It is not a stretch to say that if it
weren't for Richard "Dick" Hickman, I would likely not
be typing this newsletter today. Dick is the examiner
who trained my Mother Dee Moody, who is the one who
introduced me to Polygraph. Dick was more than an
instructor, but a close family friend with whom I
broke bread many times. We'll miss him.

The following tribute in Words and Pictures come from
Patrick Coffey:

Richard Hickman was the Man who gave me my career and
inspired me to do the work I am doing today. For me he
was among the last of the uncelebrated cold warriors who
went quietly about his life having done so much for so
long for this country. He fought in WW II as an
infantryman against the Japanese in the Philippines and
other Pacific Islands, and later served in Post War
Germany in U.S. Army Intelligence / Counter Ingelligence
with numerous missions across the then no man's land
prior to the solidification of the iron curtain.

He became a Polygraph Examiner in 1963 and served with
distinction until his retirement from the Army in that
capacity. Dick went on to work as a well established
private sector examiner with many well known cases, and
further became an APA accreditted polygraph school
instructor at both the L.A. Institute of Polygraph, as
well as the San Francisco Center for Polygraph Studies.

While all of this would have been enough for most any
man's career, Dick went further and in his early 70's
was accepted to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service
as a Polygraph Examiner until his second retirement.
Dick, not content in his retirement, again returned to
teaching earlier in this decade and taught at the Arizona
School of Polygraph, as well as in the middle eastern
nation of Oman in 2003, and as recently as last month in
the NATO nation of Slovakia.

Richard Hickman just turned 88 this last December 17th,
and was most proud of his life accomplishment of having
raised three fine Sons who he always talked about. Dick
managed the art of Single parenting while maintaining his
Army career in an era where single parenting was almost
unheard of. He had several Grandchildren whom he loved
dearly. Among the polygraph community Richard Hickman
was an uncelebrated Icon, but those of us who knew him
well also know he did not seek such status. Among his
many students from various schools where he taught, each
of us benefitted greatly from his instruction, presence,
manner, and Ethics which were paramount to him in this
the most unique of professions. I would always tell him
that I was just an Acorn from he the Mighty Oak. We grew
very close over the last few years and I feel so very
blessed to have had him as my Instructor, Mentor, and
Friend. I will miss him more than I can state here, and
I know each of you feels the same. Please take a moment
for him in your prayers knowing that this nation was
preserved, protected, and defended by such an incredible
man as was Richard Hickman.

Patrick T. Coffey

4. NEW TECHNOLOGIES: Introducing the Limestone Fingercuff

EDITORS NOTE: I have been using the new fingercuff for
a few months now and not having to hear 'this blood
pressure cuff is bothering me' is a most wonderful side
effect.

Limestone Technologies Inc. is pleased to announce the
official release of our latest innovation, the Limestone
FingerCuff. We have been working on this new polygraph
transducer since January 2006 and we are now ready to
officially make this available to all of our clients.

We feel that the industry has waited long enough for our
latest advancement in state of the art polygraph
technology.

Seasoned examiners will recall the older style “Thumb Cam”
that was once offered with high resolution analog
instruments. This transducer worked very well with the
analog instrumentation however it was a disappointment
when it was used with the newer digital instrumentation.

Unfortunately the polygraph digital instrumentation that
was available to examiners did not offer the high
resolution or sensitivity that would allow them to measure
and record data from this style of transducer. Earlier
digital technology was a step forward in convenience and
portability but a step backwards with regard to signal
quality and sensitivity.

All of this has recently changed with the introduction
of Limestone’s high resolution digital polygraph
instrument. The Limestone Technologies FingerCuff™ offers
the same accuracy and signal quality as the traditional
Blood Pressure Cuff, with absolutely no discomfort to
the examinee. The FingerCuff operating pressure can be
as low as 35mmHg and the transducer is comparable to
wearing a BandAid The Limestone FingerCuff is an
excellent alternative to the traditional Blood Pressure
Cuff, and it is now included in all of Limestone
Technologies’ Polygraph Professional Suite packages.

There has been no increase in our pricing for this
additional transducer. Simply more value and more choices
for polygraph examiners looking for an alternative to the
Blood Pressure Cuff.

We recently demonstrated our FingerCuff with great
success at this years AAPP and APA conferences. Federal
agencies and Police departments across North America
have been running live exams using our FingerCuff and
all have expressed their unparalleled satisfaction with
our newest transducer. While some of our competitors
have followed in our footsteps by claiming to offer
their own version of the FingerCuff, don’t be fooled.

Ask for a demonstration so you can make your own
comparison. Since our DataPac_USB is the only instrument
offering 16 bit Sigma Delta conversion technology you
won’t see the same accuracy and quality our
instrumentation can provide.

5. PERSONAL OFF TOPIC TOPIC: Tired of being tired.

Those close to me know that I have struggled with fatigue
issues for years. Being a diabetic and being overweight
has only exacerbated that problem.

In August 2006, I went to see a doctor for a physical. I
have avoided having one for three years, but I was just so
tired of being tired that I had to do something. I left
that appointment discouraged and had a notebook full of
new prescriptions.

I knew one thing for sure. I did not want to be 'managed'
by prescriptions for the rest of my life. I knew from
past short term successes that losing weight would bring
my blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol levels
under control.

A week later, I commented to my chiropractor that he
had really lost weight and looked terrific. He shared with
me that he was part of a clinical trial for a new 'inch'
loss plan and that he had lost 22 pounds in 12 weeks.

He told me that the plan was just being released to the
public that very day. I guess you could say that he
caught me at the right time and I made a commitment to
give the plan a try. Key to my decision was the following:

1. I knew and trusted my chiropractor's testimony. I have
known him for over five years.

2. I found out the science behind the plan was also the
same science that has powered over 50 gold medalists and
was used by 7 of Time's 25 greatest adventurers of the
last 100 years.

3. I found out the company has been in the 'all natural'
business for fifty years.

4. I found out that if this didn't work....If I didn't
lose and keep off at least 15.4 lbs in twelve weeks,
that I would get all my money back.

End result. I went on the plan, which is deeply routed
in science, not fads, and lost 17 lbs and 13 inches in
twelve weeks. I became a believer. So much so that I
asked to be a distributor.

So if you are tired of being tired and/or want to take
charge of your health and life by losing weight
permanently, please shoot me an email and I will share
more info with you and answer any questions you might
have.

I realize this is a very personal email for this
newsletter, but taking care of my physical body has
changed all aspects of my life. I want to share with
and encourage anyone who is at the "I've got to change
something" crossroads regarding their life and health.

Thanks. Ralph Hilliard.
